From what it seems, Acer eRecovery Management doesn't have a restore to default feature and the only way to reset it is to uninstall and reinstall it. In order to remove it from your computer, you can use the Add or Remove Programs feature (Control Panel > Uninstall a program). After that, run a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="http://software.informer.com/search/registry+cleaner">registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys in your system and navigate to Acer Drivers and Manuals web page to download and install the program. Use the provided options to identify your computer model, select your operating system and click the Applications tab. You will find the software in the provided list.
I have an upgrade disc for Windows 7, but when I run the installer, it tells me that the Acer eRecovery Management version I have will not run, and it should be removed. Is the latest version supported?

Yes, it is :) but you can't install it, it's hardware-depends!
I have an Acer Aspire One mini laptop that came with eRecovery on a separate partition of my hard drive. Is the new version free? Will it download and replace my old version automatically or do I have to install it somewhere else?

Yes, the new version of the software is free of charge and you can download and install it from Acer Drivers and Manuals page. Identify your laptop model, select your operating system and download the file from the Applications tab. When you will install the new version, it will not replace the older one which you will need to uninstall manually.
For some reason whenever I click on the file it takes me to the acer home page every time. Can someone please email me the file and or instructions on how to download? Also, I installed on a new hard drive but only 1 partition, do I need to wipe my drive and create 2 partitions? Thanks [email protected]

I don't know the answer to your 1st ? but you should install on a seperate partition. When I got my Acer mini it was pre-loaded on a seperated partition. If anythig goes wrong you can still get to that partition and do a restore.
If you don't find the driver on the CD received after purchasing the laptop, go to Acer Drivers and Manuals web page, identify your laptop model, select your operating system and all the drivers and the software will be displayed. Download the driver and the software for your webcam and install them following the self-explained steps.
I purchased an Acer Aspire 4736G laptop last week. When I created a factory default disc, the "Burn Disc" process had 100% succeed, but it stopped when Verifying at 20%. I tried to change to another blank DVD, but it stopped again in Verifying at 8%. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, press Alt + Ctrl + Delete key combination, open Task Manager and close all unnecessary applications that may use your computer resources. After that, try again. If it doesn't work, remove Acer eRecovery Management software from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program), navigate to Acer Drivers and Manuals web page, identify your computer model, select your operating system and download and install the latest version of the software from the Applications tab.
